Q:  Why the Paris Kitchen?

A:  There are many fabulous food sites pertaining to the ever changing culinary landscape
in Paris. TPK is where I can share my favorite places while also incorporating the best
news and hot links so that readers can stay up-to-date. The Paris Kitchen's motto is,
     "Eat Like A Local!"

In between deadlines, I can be found taking food-curious travelers to eat & drink at the
local insider addresses from my black book, leading themed culinary tours & walks
throughout  my favorite food neighborhoods, conducting wine tastings in Paris' top wine
bars, arranging cooking demos/classes, making dinner reservations where the locals
eat and organizing socials to introduce travelers to my fabulous food friends who love
this city as much as I do. As of March 2010, TPK teamed up with fabulous Paris food writer
and author of Hungry for Paris, Alexander Lobrano to launch the new Paris Supper Club.

Q:  What are your favorite foods?

A:  I crave Southern comfort foods of buttermilk fried chicken, mac 'n' cheese, collard
greens, grits, tabasco shrimp and oyster poboys. Since they don't have these in Paris
and my Southern cousin Chef Art Smith can't fly them to Paris, I love home made
cassoulet, duck confit, poulet/steak/moules frites and Yves Cambdeborde's addictive
     little Iberico fried ham sticks
. I also love Michelin comfort foods that use high technique
on low/humble ingredients such as Guy Savoy's black truffle artichoke soup with
a side of truffle butter slathered on just out of the oven flaky cepe brioche to scoop up
the truffle bits out of the bowl.

Q: With your life and job, how do you not weigh 200 lbs.?

A:  Easy! I wear black.

Q:  How does it work?

A:  Add TPK to your favorite reading lists via the RSS button, or subscribe to posts automatically on the home page

Q:  Who are your readers?

A:  Paris food addicts looking for the inside scoop to keep up with the latest culinary
happenings in Paris, so they can get the most out of their next visit.

Q:  Why don't you have advertising or links to other businesses?

A:  The Paris Kitchen doesn't accept advertising or reciprocal links to keep content free and clear of unnecessary clutter to
show my readers that I write objectively.
